Volkswagen Group of America recalls nearly 60,500 2021 to 2023 Audi- and Volkswagen vehicles due to not displaying the gear position, which can lead to the car rolling away if the parking brake is not switched on, according to a recall.

Vehicles from seven different brands, models and years are influenced by the recall, according to a statement from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Almost 60,490 vehicles can be influenced by the defective instrument panel, where “N” equipment may not be shown where it should be displayed in the instrument cluster.

The recall comes from a problem where the car does not correctly display the gear in which the vehicle is located.

“As such, these vehicles do not meet the requirements of the federal motor vehicle safety standard number 102, ‘transmission -Shift order, starter clarification and transmission -inhibiting effect,” “according to the recall of the NHTSA.

To prevent the car from rolling away and causing an accident, owners must switch on the parking brake before they leave their cars.

Check the double that the red indicator lamp of the parking brake is enabled on the instrument cluster.

Which vehicles are part of the recall?

The following vehicles are recalled because “the instrument panel may not correctly display the indicator of the transmission wall lever,” said the NHTSA:

    • 2021 to 2023 Volkswagen ID.4
    • 2022 to 2023 Audi Q4 E-tron
    • 2022 to 2023 Audi Q4 E-tron Sportback

    How to solve the problem

Owners of the recalled vehicles can take their cars to the dealers, and dealers will update the brake control software for free, according to NHTSA.

Letters who inform owners of the malfunction is expected to be emailed on 25 April 2025.

  • An early punishment forces Connor Zilisch to fight Xfinity Field for the second career gain at Cota

An early punishment forces Connor Zilisch to fight Xfinity Field for the second career gain at Cota

Connor Zilisch would start an easy journey to his second Xfinity series victory on the Circuit of the Americas on Saturday afternoon, starting on the post. However, an early fine meant that the 18-year-old was forced to race back through the field.

After having kept his penalty, Zilian started in the 32nd position and went up to the 16th within five laps. After the penalty felt the rest of the race in a fog, he led to his mistakes and aggression to come back.

“That fine is difficult, right?” Zilian said in the press conference. “If you are the fastest car and sail in the front, send a penalty that is not really in your own control to the last.”

Zilian claims a play -off place in his Rookie season and will go in his Cup Series -debut tomorrow with the confidence of his second career -winning in the Xfinity series.

In the restart of the last stage, Zilian to third, just behind William Byron and Carson Kvapil. At De Restart, Zilian was aggressive in his pursuit of the lead and bumped into Byron. Zilische held third place while Austin Hill and Corey Heim sank through the chaos.
His aggressive move cost Zilian damage to its front. The damage did not delay the driver of the No. 88 when he ran the track faster than Heim and Hill for him.

“That was much more difficult than I wanted it to be, I didn’t drive a clean race at all, sorry for everyone I hit,” Zilisch told CW Sports.

With 14 to go, Hill made a mistake and missed a corner. Heim and Zilian benefited from the winner of Atlanta last week. Hill finished fourth, better than what he thought the car was capable of today.

“Anyway, the two boys behind us were faster than we were all day,” Hill told CW Sports.

Kvapil, who had the fastest round of the race, stopped Zilian until nine more laps were left. Then, on the way to the hill in turn one, Zilisch took the lead on the inside.

Kvapil remained the following laps at a striking distance and temporarily fought to regain the pipe. Eventually he overloaded his right side and wore in a flat place, causing him to return to the pits and ended up 23rd.

From there, the path from Zilian to victory was released when he finished 1.64 seconds before Byron, which he meets tomorrow while Zilisch tries to become the youngest winner in the Cup series History.

In his press conference after the race, Zilian was more angry with his mistakes than happy for his victory.

“To be honest, I am more frustrated with myself than I am happy. I made way too many mistakes today,” replied Zilian reporters, including R&T.

After the race, Zilian sent three SMS messages to teammates and competitors in the field that he felt that he ran too aggressively in his march.

“I have already sent three people that I believe I did wrong,” said Zilian. “I just have to drive at 80% in these places.”

Zilian is not going to concentrate alone on the upcoming road courses where he knows that he has his best chance of winning victories. There are 12 oval tracks between now and when the Xfinity series takes on the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez Road Course in Mexico City for the first point race of Nascar in Mexico. This block of oval racing is where Zilian will have to prove himself whether he wants to make a real push in the direction of a championship in his Rookie season. Zilisch was entangled in Crashes in both superspeedway races to open the 2025 season.

  • Zilian’s Xfinity victory at Cota proves that he is the future of Nascar

Zilian’s Xfinity victory at Cota proves that he is the future of Nascar

Anyone who doubts whether Connor Zilian is indeed the next big thing in Nascar that was only necessary to spend a few hours watching him at work in the Xfinity Series race in the circuit of America near Austin, Texas on Saturday. The 18-year-old supplied such an exciting performance, so completely challenging with adversity, that by the time he took the checkered flag, all remaining skeptics probably set their doubts and set fire to fire.

Zilian started from pole and led a racing high 26 of the 65 laps, but do not confuse that for a relaxed Saturday afternoon ride. This was not difficult cruise through the Texas countryside. This was a struggle – a filled with mistakes, accident and a dash of chaos that somehow made his victory all the more impressive.

Things started to unravel in round 19 when Zilian was trapped in one of that cruel, fraction of a second moments that make racing the heartache it is. Just when he entered the pits, the caution flag flew, and in a case of absolutely rotten timing, officials only breathed the pits before he crossed the border. The punishment? A one -way trip to the back of the field.

Most drivers would have effectively ruined their race. However, Zilian is not most drivers.

He started a furious load back through the peloton, took his way forward with the precision of a surgeon and the aggression of a man who simply refuses to lose. And just when it seemed as if his comeback story was built to a Hollywood -end, he was in another crisis. Contact with Corey Heim Links Zilisch’s JR Motorsports Chevrolet with a right -hand tire that looked as stable as a house of cards in a hurricane. Smoke wavy. The disaster threatened. This would be the moment that he broke.

    It wasn’t.

Instead, Zilian shook the adversity again, found his way back to the front and took the lead with nine laps forever. However, that was hardly the end of the drama. Behind him, his JR Motorsports – teammate Carson Kvapil – processed for his first career -victory – everything he had with the racing director. But unlike Zilian, the happiness of Kvapil ran out. A pierced right band with five laps to start ending his challenge and on the left Zilisch with another problem to manage: fuel.

With William Byron in his mirrors, Zilian had to find the delicate balance between maintaining pace while holding enough gas in the tank to get home. Byron, fresh from winning the first phase, did his best to get it and cut a four -second gap to 1.6, but he just didn’t have time anymore. Zilian crossed the line, conquering and recorded his second career Xfinity win in a performance that proved that the hype is very, very real once and for all.

“That was much more difficult than I wanted,” Zilisch admitted after the race. “I didn’t drive a clean race at all … I was a bit mentally decided halfway through that race. I made way too many mistakes … I was happy that we could fight back. “

In the meantime, Byron had to settle for the second. “I had fun. It was a good training, “he said. “It was good to return to the rhythm of things and push the car. I think it will help me for (Sunday). “

Sam Mayer, Austin Hill and Christian Eckes complete the top five.

And Zilian? He can do it again on Sunday, making his Nascar Cup series debut from the 14th starting place. But if Saturday proved something, it is that the 14th is about the same for him as a mosquito bite. Because when the green flag drops, the child knows how to find the front.

“It has been a nice weekend, but we have a big race tomorrow,” he said. “I am looking forward to that too.”

That is us, Connor. That’s how we are.

From modest origin to intergalactic fame, the journey of Chris Pratt by Hollywood is just as diverse as his acting portfolio. Before his outbreak rolls and the success of the cash register, the early life of Pratt was far from the glitter of Tinseltown. Raised in Lake Stevens, Washington, Pratt experienced a modest upbringing, in which his parents worked in mining, construction and in a supermarket. His pre-acting days were spent in more humble circumstances, in which door-to-door coupon sale was involved and shrimp in a Bubba Gump-Restaurant shun. Now that he is a superstar, his car collection is still quite modest.

The beetle, as Forbes emphasized, was conceived as the Volkswagen type 1, an affordable vehicle designed for the masses, commissioned by Ferdinand Porsche and paused because of the Second World War. Kansas City Chiefs Kicker Harrison Butker is paid several million every year and can easily enjoy some of the finer things in life. Just like many other NFL players, that means dressing before games. But it also means that the man has the growing collection of BMWs.

The car collection of Patrick Mahomes is pure fire.

That’s right, the kicker who has come up with the chiefs so often is a big fan of Bavarian cars. He is certainly not alone, but he owns more than most people and many of them are quite expensive. We would even venture to bet that Butker is a bit of a gear head, if not a complete enthusiast, based on the series he has seen.

What is interesting is that the man Bimmer seems to favor crossovers – apologizes to us, sports activities vehicles, such as BMW wants us to call them. People can have every opinion they want about crossovers that are not ‘pure’ enough, butker probably doesn’t care about your opinions because he has the time of his life.

Happy Saturday, friends. Did you take about six years last week to get through, or was it over in an hour? It feels like working weeks will never take a week again; Or they drag on forever or they are a hectic mess that is put in a flash. Anyway, you could probably use a relaxation tool to cool yourself for the weekend. Fortunately I have exactly the thing: a nice, quiet ride through Okinawa, Japan on a Honda GB350.

Sunny sky above the head, clear blue-green water on the side of the road, puts in cute little earthenware stores-what is a better way to start your weekend? Throw the newest Zeeman Moto Vlog while you eat a late brunch (the earliest meal to be eaten on a good weekend day) and let the stress of the week melt away. No more tax season, no more TPS reports, only the sound of a motorcycle and the view of Okinawa.

We don’t get the GB350 here in the United States, which is a real shame because it sounds like an explosion to go around. Honda, please give us the cool things you give to Japan. We also have beautiful winding roads by the water and we want to drive them on lightweight small retro bikes. Well, at least I do that. I can’t speak for the rest of America.

Couple back, relax and let the thrum of a small 350 engine decrease that reflects the water of Okinawa from Okinawa. Let that work melt stress and imagine that you are in the chair of that GB350 or that order Americano. Live that life for half an hour deputy on this sunny Saturday morning. “A model that comes to mind immediately is the Audi Q7,” said Dominguez, founder of Car Fixer Guide. “Although it has luxury, the high maintenance costs and minimal improvements of the previous year make it difficult to justify the increased MSRP. It is better performed by competitors such as the BMW X5 and Lexus RX 350, both offer comparable luxury facilities at better value. “

    2024 Cadillac Escalade

    • MSRP: starting at $ 81,895 and $ 87,595 for 2025 models

The 2024 Cadillac Escalade starts at $ 81,895, but the new 2025 model can vary from $ 87,595 to $ 116,395 without a major renewal. That car price is sufficient to scratch the Dominguez list with the analysis of us without a consumer report.

“Although it is delivered with many bells and whistles, it does not necessarily offer more than the Chevy Tahoe from 2023, a considerably less expensive SUV with a similar engine and functions,” he said, in reference to the starting price of $ 54,200 from Tahoe. “For what you pay, essentially you speak to the name Cadillac without receiving substantive improvements in performance or technology.”

    2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

    • MSRP: starting at $ 48,450

Liam Lucas, automotive expert and founder of Off Road Genius, does not like the Mercedes-Benz C-Class-Alleen the price tag. Although it is close to the price when buying a new car on average, the details such as tires, maintenance and repairs set the prices at entry level.

“Although it is a luxury vehicle with high-end functions, the price has brought a significant rise, which exceeded the improvements,” he said. “The basic model starts at more than $ 40,000. With additional functions, the price can easily reach $ 60,000, which is quite steep, since the competitors such as the Audi A4 or BMW 3 series offer comparable or better functions for a lower or comparable price. “

    2024 Range Rover Sport

    • MSRP: $ 83,600 and $ 83,700 to $ 182,325 for a model from 2025

Lucas also does not see the value in the Range Rover Sport of the coming year, which starts at $ 83,700 and climbs to more than $ 180,000. That is not your average car agreement.

“Although it is a luxury SUV with off-road options, competitors such as the Jeep Grand Cherokee offer comparable off-road bravery and luxury for a fraction of the costs,” he said. The high-end top reservation package of the Grand Cherokee starts at $ 71,535.

    2025 Bronco Raptor

    • MSRP: starting at $ 91,500

Robert Luterzo, automotive engineer and editor at Automotive Widget, calls the Bronco Raptor “one of the most too expensive 4 × 4 vehicles on the market this year.”

“The focus on off-road performance can lead to compromises when it comes to daily usability and comfort,” said Luterzo. “The aggressive suspension and off-road tires can lead to a less comfortable driving experience on the road. The emphasis on off-road functions can also mean that specific convenience and luxury facilities in other SUVs are absent or offered as expensive optional packages. For buyers who are planning to use the vehicle mainly for daily home -work or family transport, the sacrifices in comfort and usability can outweigh the benefits. “

    2025 Rivian R1T

    • MSRP: starting at $ 71,700

According to Talha Atta, mechanical engineer and editor at Autoglobes, “the Rivian R1T is the most expensive EV four-wheel drive of today.”

He thinks they just don’t make enough of the starting price of $ 71,700 to where it should be.

“As an electric pick -up, the Rivian R1 is suitable for a relatively niche market, at least in the early stages,” said Atta. “This limited demand can lead to higher production costs per unit, which can be passed on to the consumer by a higher price tag.”

    2024 BMW IX

    • MSRP: $ 87.100 and $ 88,425 for 2025 models

Fifteen-year-old car industry Veteran Nick Robinson, co-founder of Pick and Pull Sell Car, a marketplace for used car parts, does not believe that the specifications of the BMW IX can justify its price tag, that starts in the high $ 80,000. He thinks rivals such as the Tesla Model X, Audi e-tron and Mercedes-Benz EQC offer much more value for money.

“The IX has a controversial design, a medium range of 300 miles and matte performance,” said Robinson. “That is a bit average compared to other BMW models. It also does not justify its premium price tag or the luxury brand name and is not worth buying if there are better and cheaper alternatives on the market. “

    2025 Toyota Sienna

    • MSRP: starting at $ 40,635

One of the biggest names in minibuses recently went all-in green technology and it could have sacrificed value during the conversion.

“The Toyota Sienna is too expensive,” says Melanie Musson, expert in the car industry at Autoinsurance.org. “There are not many minibus manufacturers, and the Sienna has been one of the most reliable options for years.”

But in 2020, Toyota changed the entire Sienna -Line -Up – which starts at $ 36,885 – to consist exclusively of hybrid models.

“Not only does this change make them more expensive, but it makes them less suitable for the needs of many minibus drivers,” said Musson. “The small engine can help save gas when the van is empty, but if it is loaded for children’s sports or a family vacation, drivers will notice the extreme lack of power of the four cylinders.”

Man attacks a car with ax during anger exchange of the road

Man attacks a car with ax during anger exchange of the road

Some women in Memphis registered Tennessee a rage -exchange where one driver started attacking the other car with the help of an ax of all things. That visual material has become viral, with news stations throughout the country pick -up of the story. It is understandable why because we usually do not see AX attacks during an anger fight.

Mercedes has used AI to design cars.

According to reports, the driver of the Nissan Xterra crashed against the back of a Chevy Impala from 2012. What precedes it, if there is something, is not known. But then the man got out of the car with his ax and the SUV approached.

In the video of mobile phones you can see that the man takes a few swings in the Xterra before he turns around and runs away. Allegedly the man fled the stage on foot and the police are looking for him.

It is unclear whether the police know who the man is. We would assume that he is the registered owner of the Impala, but with how unbridled car theft is in Memphis, that is a whole assumption.

During the attack, the woman openly wonders why the other driver is not starting alone. Maybe the Nissan was eliminated by the crash? Or has the person perhaps been to shock? We don’t know, but it seems strange.

Fortunately, nobody was reportedly injured in the crash or the AX attack. We look that people are seriously injured when axes or knives are produced during an anger fight.

It is possible that there was an exchange on the road before the crash and ax attack. That is why we advise people to stay away from verbal exchanges with other drivers, because things can escalate in complete violence.

If someone tries to pull you in an anger fight, then definitely not go out of your vehicle. Drive away, if you can, and go to a police station or somewhere with many witnesses and cameras. And definitely leave the ax in your car alone.
